Every person wishing to take a Scuba Diving Course of Instruction must first complete a PADI Medical Questionnaire AND be cleared for diving by and have the medical form signed by their physician(s).

If you are already certified and are looking to enroll in an advanced or specialty course you are required to have a current medical form on file. A current medical form is:

a. Less than one year old
b. No changes in health since last form was completed.

PADI SCUBA REVIEW

Tune Those Scuba Skills
Has it been a while since you have been diving?
Are there "little things" that you want to "work out" before your next dive?
Do you want to reacquaint yourself with the dive tables and safe diving practices
If the answer is "YES" then the PADI Scuba Tune-Up is for you.

The PADI Scuba Tune-Up (also called a Refresher Course) is an easy way for you to get some time with a certified PADI Instructor or qualified Divemaster and go through the basic skills you learned in your Open Water Diver Course. This program is a private or semi-private session where you get the undivided attention of the person running the course. The course is customized around your needs and schedule so, you tell us what time works best for you and we work as close as possible with you to arrange academic and in - water review schedules.

During the Victory Sports PADI Scuba Tune-up course you will:

Refresh your knowledge about the diving environment and equipment
Be reacquainted with the dive tables and how to plan dives
Refresh your diving skills through demonstration and practice either in a pool or in Lake Champlain.

Course Prerequisites:

Each diver must:

1. Have a Certification Card from PADI or another approved certification agency.
2.
Have completed current PADI Medical Form on file with Victory Sports (see above).
3. Purchase and have completed the PADI Scuba Tune-up Guidebook*.
4. Watch the videos associated with the PADI Open Water Diver Course.
5. provide their own mask, fins, snorkels and boots
6.
Be at least 12 years of age.

Course fee:
(1 diver) $150.00 per person
(1-3 divers) $125.00 per person
(4-5 divers) $100.00 per person

Included is:
Use of regulators, B.C.D, wetsuit, weightbelt and cylinders
Use of PADI Open Water Diver videos
Air Fills

* If divers have completed their Basic Open Water Class less than 12 months prior, they may review their
PADI Open Water Diver Manual instead of purchasing and completing the PADI Scuba Tune-up Guidbook .

Fun and adventure in diving begins when you first start learning to dive in our PADI Open Water Diver Course - the most popular diving course in the world. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be certified and recognized internationally as a PADI OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVER.
This will allow you to experience the joy and beauty of our breathtaking underwater world. When you're ready for night dives or deep dives our Advanced Open Water Course will show you how to do them safely.

  • PADI Open Water Manual*
  • PADI Dive Tables*
  • PADI Diver's Log Book*
  • Equipment rental for both confined water and open water training if completed with us
  • Free use of PADI Open Water Diver Videos or DVD's (To assist in your studies)

The PADI Open Water Diver Course May Qualify for College Credit.

Each Student Is Required To Provide:

Dive Shop quality Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Neoprene Boots
Towel(s) and Transportation. In our opinion items purchased at
department stores are unacceptable and will not be allowed in our classes.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

Continue The Fun!

You will gain additional diving experience and knowledge, under supervised conditions, in a variety of fun diving conditions. Victory Sports' Advanced Class consists of of five individual dives. Our Class is scheduled for a short Friday evening of academic review, followed by two days and one night of fun filled diving experiences. When you complete the PADI Advanced Open Water Program, you'll have completed the first dive for each of the five PADI Specialty Diver Courses.

  • You will receive a 50% discount on any equipment you need to rent for this course.

PADI RESCUE DIVER COURSE
Know What to Do

Our PADI Rescue Diver Course is one of the most fun, educational and physically demanding dive classes you will ever take. After meeting to review the academics outlined in the PADI Rescue Manual, the fun begins!

Your "Dive Team", made up of your classmates, will spend two days learning how to locate and assist divers in trouble and administer first aid, CPR and oxygen.

The Rescue Course is comprised of classroom and open water work. You will learn how to prevent potential dive accidents, and how to manage a dive accident if one should occur.

From assisting a tired diver, to possible worst-case scenarios, you'll practice applying the knowledge and skills that make the difference in the unlikely event problems to arise.
As you learn accident management, you'll learn to apply your first-aid & CPR skills to the unique needs of diving.

By the time you finish the PADI Rescue Diver Course, you'll be a qualified First-Responder - whether an accident occurs in or out of the water. This is by far is the most rewarding course you will ever take.
