Good Luck Chris
It is with mixed feelings that we inform you that Chris Whipple, loyal friend, valued employee and Dive Instructor Extraordinaire is no longer a full time employee of Victory Sports. Chris applied for and (of course) was hired to fill a position with U.S. Customs and Immigration. After his training is complete Chris will be stationed on the Canadian/Vermont border.

A knowledgeable instructor, technician and friend to many of those he taught at Victory Sports since 1997, Chris has said that he still hopes to be able to teach and perform some equipment repairs upon his return to Vermont.

We wish him all the best in his future. This is not good bye, this is GOOD LUCK!!!

Welcome Aboard Krista


Pam and I are very pleased to announce that Krista Brown Marzewski, PADI MSDT is now an instructor at Victory Sports. Certified to dive in 1994 in Hartford Connecticut. Krista completely fell in love with the sport and went through classes to achieve her PADI Open Water Instructor Rating After spending the next years diving & teaching in New England -enjoying dives in Mass, VT, New Hampshire, RI & CT. she moved to Houston, TX in 1996 where she managed a dive shop before she was bitten by the "warm water bug". diving in Bonaire, Cozumel, Belize, all along the Florida Keys and the Flower Gardens in the Gulf of Mexico.

In 1997 she moved to Bimini where she worked as a DM, captain and instructor at a local dive shop. after a few seasons she started her own dive operation in South Bimini, Bahamas. Krista operated her business for seven years until after experiencing too many hurricanes and damage to the business she decided it was time to relocate to the beautiful waters of New England and we are glad she did.

Join Krista on an exciting trip to one of the few Ecological Reserves in U.S. Waters - the Dry Tortugas. Travel aboard the M/V Spree from Friday the 23rd of May through Thursday the 29th of May.
The cost of the boat/meals/diving portion is $1,150.00. People would be responsible for booking their own transportation to the where the boat departs from.
The boat charter fee includes:

  • tanks
  • weights
  • air or nitrox fills
  • 5 dives a day
  • 6 meals/snacks a day

are provided.

The boat departs at 8:00 pm on Friday night the 23rd. Diving begins on the morning of the 24th .. the last day of diving is the Wednesday the 28th the boat arrives back to the dock late in the day....so people are allowed to spend the night on the boat departing the boat by 9:00 am on the morning of the 29th.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DIVES ARE RETURNING TOO!!!

All students and dive gear customers of Victory Sports are invited to join Divemaster Tom on Wednesdays evenings this summer for some local dives. A great way to make new dive buddies, practice and sharpen your diving skills, these dives were so popular in the past that many of our customers (and Tom) felt we should do them again.
